„Împăratul” prostituatelor. Cum terorizau Irlanda grupările rivale de proxeneți conduse de Ioan Anton și Virgil Bușă
Ioan Anton, known as "The Emperor," was a prominent figure in human trafficking and prostitution networks in Ireland. He led a criminal group involved in violent activities, including the murder of his rival, Virgil Bușă, in 2014. Anton orchestrated the attack, which involved multiple associates who violently assaulted Bușă, leading to his death.
Anton was extradited from Ireland to Romania in 2018 to face charges. His associates were tried in Romania, with nine receiving reduced sentences due to legal decisions on statutes of limitations. The case highlighted issues with international cooperation and lengthy legal processes.
