"Hamilton" canceled its Kennedy Center performance for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence after President Trump replaced the center's president and board of trustees. Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda cited Trump's "takeover" of the institution. Several other artists also canceled appearances in protest.
