NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore returned to Earth in a SpaceX Dragon capsule after a nine-month stay on the ISS, extended due to issues with the Boeing Starliner spacecraft that transported them there. The mission was intended to help Boeing compete with SpaceX, but Starliner experienced problems before and after docking, leading to NASA extending their stay and using SpaceX for their return.
