Nigeria seeks to collaborate with Egypt to improve grid reliability, address metering gaps, and expand electricity access, especially in rural areas, leveraging initiatives like the Presidential Metering Initiative and renewable energy projects supported by investments from the World Bank and JICA. Egypt's Ambassador Fouad expressed eagerness to collaborate with Nigeria, focusing on metering and sharing best practices.
