Purtătorul de cuvânt al AUR, Dan Tanasă, a anunţat miercuri, 12 martie, în ce va consta greva grupurilor parlamentare ale formaţiunii. Parlamentarii vor fi prezenţi la locul de muncă, vor desfăşura audienţe, dar nu vor participa la şedinţele de plen şi la şedinţele comisiilor.
AUR's spokesperson Dan Tanasă announced a parliamentary strike as a form of protest against what they perceive as a "coup," stating that AUR parliamentarians will attend work and hold audiences, but will not participate in plenary or committee sessions. Tanasă mentioned potential presidential candidates, including Dan Dungaciu, Petrișor Peiu, and the President of the Romanian Academy, but said the decision will be made after discussions with Călin Georgescu. He assured that Romanians will have a sovereignist, patriotic candidate to vote for in the presidential elections. AUR is also mobilizing sovereignist forces.
