Oireachtas member arrested over alleged €150,000 business fraud

Politician allegedly signed off on payments despite knowing they were for sums in excess of what was owed



An Oireachtas member was arrested for allegedly approving fraudulent payments totaling nearly €150,000. The arrest occurred on Friday after the politician presented at a Garda station with a solicitor.
