Olivier Grondeau, Français détenu en Iran depuis 2022, est libre et de retour en France, annonce Emmanuel Macron

Olivier Grondeau, a French national detained in Iran since October 2022, has been released and returned to France, according to President Emmanuel Macron. Grondeau was arrested while on a world tour and sentenced to five years for "plotting against the Islamic Republic." His release follows negotiations between France and Iran. Macron also called for the release of remaining French detainees Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris, held on espionage charges. Another French citizen under house arrest in Iran was also allowed to leave.
