Economic uncertainty, market volatility and political risk are among the major factors affecting confidence, research for Nutmeg indicates.
A survey conducted in January 2025 revealed that 31% of UK investors lack confidence in achieving positive returns this year, citing economic uncertainty, market volatility, and political risk as primary concerns. The Nutmeg survey, involving 1,000 UK investors, also showed that 38% of investors with over ten years of experience share this lack of confidence.
