Over 500 in Benue community benefit from GGMI free medical outreach

Over 500 people in Benue State benefited from free medical services provided by the Global Gospel Missions Initiative (GGMI) as part of its 2025 Free Health Care initiative. The outreach, conducted in collaboration with the Mbakpegh Traditional Council and the Mbakpegh District of Ipav in Gboko Local Government Area, included counseling, consultations, drug dispensing, minor surgeries, and vocational training. GGMI emphasized addressing health challenges in rural communities, particularly for those unable to afford healthcare, and called for improved primary health care services. The initiative also aimed to complement state government efforts to enhance health access in underserved areas.
