Une pollution a été signalée, jeudi 20 février, à l’embouchure de L’Hourride et de la Garonne à Cazères, au sud de Toulouse. Du liquide vaisselle versé par jeu serait à l’origine du dégagement de mousse constaté.
A pollution incident was reported on February 20, 2025, at the confluence of the Hourride stream and the Garonne in Cazères, near Toulouse. The pollution was caused by liquid soap poured into the stream by young people, resulting in foam formation. Six firefighters responded, setting up a barrier to contain the pollution. The foam, analyzed as a neutral pH substance resembling dish soap from the Saint-Martory canal, did not affect the Garonne.
