Parents' victory as daughter's death from 'diet drugs' ruled not suicide in groundbreaking decision

Parents Doug and Carole Shipsey successfully overturned a ruling that their daughter Bethan Shipsey's death from Dinitrophenol (DNP) "diet pills" was suicide. The High Court ordered the removal of any reference to suicide from the inquest record, referencing the parents' claim that she was unlawfully killed by the drugs. The dealer who sold Beth the deadly drugs admitted supplying the drugs.
