British children could be entitled to nearly £10 a week
Parents with children under four are urged to check their eligibility for the Healthy Start scheme, which provides up to £8.50/week for children under one and £4.25/week for those aged one to four, to ensure children receive nutritious meals. Eligibility has been extended to include families with no immigration status or NRPF conditions, provided their monthly take-home pay is £408 or less. Claimants must report changes in circumstances to avoid penalties.
