Parking in Toronto is a mess with the snow right now and these are the rules

One wouldn't think that Canada's largest city would end up debilitated for weeks because of a few hits of snow in the middle of winter, but here we are, with the City of Toronto's cleanup efforts set to take a few weeks to complete after back-t0-back storms earlier this month.The wintry precipitation proved to be enough to derail streetcars, halt mail service and close businesses, and even though we haven't seen any substantial accumulation in days, some sidewalks and lanes in the downtown core are still impassable.Navigating the city is one thing, but parking is decidedly more of a disaster, even after the bulk of roadways are looking far clearer than just one week ago.Many side streets have been reduced to just one lane (either total or in each direction), with the others piled too high with snow to traverse, or blocked off by the city for future clearing.For the 55,000+ residents who hold parking permits for these roads, nabbing a spot has become exponent...
