The Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed Samuel Anyanwu's request to halt the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from proceeding with his removal as the PDP's National Secretary. Anyanwu sought an injunction to prevent INEC from acting without his signature. However, Justice Inyang Ekwo denied the ex-parte application, directing Anyanwu to notify INEC and other parties to allow them to present their case. The court will now hear from both sides.
