People over State Pension age due up to £1,362 each month in new financial year

The annual uprating will see weekly State Pension and benefit payments rise on April 7.

From April 7th, UK pensioners with health issues may receive up to £1,362 monthly due to annual benefit uprating. This includes increases to Attendance Allowance/Pension Age Disability Payment (PADP) by 1.7%, and New/Basic State Pensions by 4.1%. The full New State Pension will rise to £230.25/week (£921 monthly), and the full Basic State Pension to £176.45/week (£705.80 monthly). PADP will replace Attendance Allowance in Scotland by the end of 2025 and supports people with similar conditions.
