Ministerul Energiei a pus în transparență, vineri seara, proiectul privind plafonarea prețurilor la energie.
The Romanian Ministry of Energy has extended the price capping on electricity prices for certain consumer categories. The capped prices apply to energy consumption from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025. The measures include:
- A maximum price of 0.68 lei/kWh (including VAT) for residential customers with monthly consumption between 0 and 100 kWh, as well as for families with at least three children under 18 (extendable to 26 for students) and single-parent families with children under 18 (extendable to 26 for students).
- A maximum price of 0.80 lei/kWh (including VAT) for residential customers with monthly consumption between 100.01 and 255 kWh.
- A maximum price of 1 lei/kWh (including VAT) for 85% of monthly consumption for small and medium-sized enterprises, public utility operators, agricultural and food sector businesses, public institutions, and healthcare facilities. The remaining 15% of consumption is capped at 1.30 lei/kWh (including VAT).
