Plane is forced to return home two hours into its flight after passenger loses their phone on board

An AirFrance plane has been forced to return home just two hours into its flight after a passenger lost their phone mid-air.

An Air France plane carrying 375 passengers and 12 crew members returned to Paris two hours into its flight to Guadeloupe after a passenger lost their phone. This was a safety precaution, reminiscent of a similar incident a month prior when a phone slipped into an air vent on the same plane, raising fire risk concerns. The plane landed back in Paris and departed again 20 minutes later, eventually reaching Guadeloupe. This incident follows another event where a power bank exploded mid-air on an AirAsia flight.
