Planning permission sought to increase bedrooms and add spa to proposed luxury wedding venue

Elocin Hotels has requested North Lanarkshire Council give the thumbs up for this revised version of the project to convert Garrion Tower, near Overtown, which is currently an empty building undergoing restoration from a former state of ruin.

Businesswoman Nicole Rudder seeks expanded planning permission to increase the number of bedrooms and add a spa to her proposed luxury wedding venue, Garrion Tower, in North Lanarkshire. The original plan to convert the dilapidated 17th-century building into a hotel, restaurant, and wedding venue was approved last year. The revised plans aim to attract more visitors and create around 18 new jobs while respecting the historic character of the Category B listed building.
