Players accuse tennis governing bodies of running ‘cartel’ in lawsuit

The Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), founded by Novak Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil, has launched a lawsuit against the ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA, accusing them of operating as a "cartel" that suppresses player earnings, restricts competition, and violates player rights through restrictive ranking systems, non-compete clauses, and invasive anti-doping practices. The lawsuit also cites concerns about player welfare, including disregard for health and safety. The governing bodies vow to defend their positions.
