Plus de 150 gros dauphins prédateurs s’échouent sur une plage de Tasmanie et ont peu de chances de survivre

Over 150 false killer whales, large predator dolphins, stranded on a beach near Arthur River, Tasmania, on February 18, 2025. By February 19, around 90 were still alive, but their survival chances were slim. Rescue efforts were challenging due to their size, and euthanasia was being considered to minimize suffering. This was the largest stranding in the area since 1974. Mass strandings are increasing globally, with potential links to human activities, though causes remain unclear.
