Police drama Vigil starring Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie to return to the BBC

The police drama "Vigil," starring Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie, is returning to the BBC for its third series. The new season will follow DCI Amy Silva and DI Kirsten Longacre as they investigate the death of a member of a covert British special forces mission at an Arctic research station. Filming is set to begin in Scotland later this year. Both actors expressed excitement about the high-stakes mission in the upcoming series. "Vigil" was nominated for Best Drama Series at the 2022 Bafta Awards and won the International Emmy for Best Drama Series. The first two series are available on BBC iPlayer. The third series, produced by World Productions, will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
