Police find body in hunt for man suspected of shooting dead mother

Edvard Smith is thought to have gunned down Lisa Smith, 43, when she was with a female friend when killed outside the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent.



Police recovered a body from the River Thames on March 7th near Rainham, Essex, believed to be Edvard, the main suspect in the Valentine's Day shooting death of Lisa, 43, outside a pub in Knockholt, Kent. Edvard's car was found abandoned on the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge with a handgun inside, and witnesses saw a man jump into the river. Edvard called Lisa's cousin after the shooting, stating "She's dead" and indicating he expected to be shot by police.
