Scottish prisoners can now purchase from prison shops a selection of 22 different breakfast cereals, a significant upgrade from the traditional porridge. The prison shops offer over 500 products, including sweets, biscuits, protein bars, toiletries, rice, and noodles, available for purchase by inmates. Porridge, however, is still on the list of available items.
