Poland has introduced its own AI language model, PLLuM, designed for administration, businesses, and research. Available through a web platform and the tool četbota, the model is based on a Polish text corpus of over 100 billion words. Vice-Premier and Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski announced the initiative, which also includes a consortium to implement AI models in state administration. Poland aims to enhance its competitiveness in IT and AI sectors, with the model's development adhering to ethical data collection and EU regulations.
