Power play: hockey player's stolen gear found just in time for tournament win

The gear was stolen along with the family's truck. Abbotsford police allege the truck was stolen by 40-year-old prolific offender David Anderson.



An Abbotsford hockey player's stolen gear, along with the family's truck, was recovered by police just in time for him to play in a tournament and help his team, the West Kelowna Warriors, win. Police arrested David Anderson and Wardell after a foot chase, charging them with vehicle theft and other offences.
