The budget of the City of Vrbovsko has increased by 1.47 million euros, raising the total from 9.9 million to 11.4 million euros. The increase is allocated to two major projects: a 13.6 million euro multi-year water supply and drainage system and an energy renovation project for several buildings in the city, valued at over one million euros. The city council approved the budget changes with 10 votes in favor and two abstentions from the SDP party. The water supply project is already underway, with the city contributing 10% of the total costs, while the energy renovation project is nearing the signing of contracts. The city also adjusted tax rates, including increasing the bed tax in tourist accommodations from 20 to 30 euros per bed annually.
