The Police Service Commission (PSC) has appointed Olohundare Jimoh as the new Commissioner of Police for Lagos State. The announcement was made on Monday in a statement signed by Ikechukwu Ani. Jimoh, a seasoned officer from Kwara State, previously served as Commissioner of Police at the Ports Authority and Eastern Ports, and held roles such as Force Public Relations Officer and Deputy Commissioner. His extensive experience includes combat operations, peacekeeping, and countermeasure training in various countries. Jimoh has also received the Presidential Award for Public Relations Personality of the Year. His appointment followed a screening by PSC officials.
