Québec aims to strengthen its economic ties with the Francophonie, according to Minister Martine Biron, seeing it as an underexploited economic opportunity, especially given concerns about its primary trade partner. Québec's diplomatic network will play a key role in developing markets in Europe and Africa. Exports to the Francophonie increased by 5% in 2023, reaching $12 billion. Québec will also leverage the Francophonie for cultural collaboration.
