Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Andy Peebles, who was the last person to interview John Lennon, has died at age 76. Peebles interviewed Lennon and Yoko Ono in New York two days before Lennon's death in 1980. He worked at various radio stations including Piccadilly Radio, BBC Radio 1, Gold Radio, Smooth FM, and Jazz FM, and was inducted into the Radio Academy’s Hall of Fame in 2011.
