Comic Relief's Red Nose Day raised £34 million during its 40th anniversary, featuring comedy sketches from BBC shows, including a recreation by Inbetweeners stars. The event, hosted at Salford's MediaCity, included Jamie Laing's fundraising challenge and a tribute to celebrities. Sir Lenny Henry reflected on the charity's 40 years, during which it has raised over £1.6 billion and supported more than 100 million people.
