Sinovčić accused Subašić of having a large tax debt and hiding assets, which Subašić refuted by providing a document from the Tax Administration showing no debt, citing a Bible verse about truth. The conflict is complicated by unclear ownership of facilities; the stadium is city property, while Sinovčić controls the club's facilities. Sinovčić offered the club low-cost use of facilities, which was declined, leading the team to play home games in Biograd.
