Revealed: The amount of time it takes to get over your ex (even if you ARE in a new relationship)

A study of 300 adults who had been separated from ex-partners for five years found it takes an average of over four years and nine weeks to move on from a former lover to an acquaintance, a timeframe unaffected by new relationships.
