Katherine Ryan, 41, underwent a second surgery in a week after being diagnosed with a cancerous mole on her arm. This is her second bout with cancer, having been diagnosed with Stage 2 cancer in 2004. She initially had the mole privately removed but a later diagnosis revealed it was cancerous, requiring further surgery. She previously received an incorrect diagnosis that the mole wasn't cancerous.
