Rib fractures of park attack victim unlikely to be from fall, murder trial told

In the murder trial of a 15-year-old accused of killing 80-year-old Bhim Kohli, a pathologist testified that Kohli's rib fractures were unlikely caused by a simple fall, suggesting a heavy impact to the rib cage. Kohli died of a spinal injury after an attack in a park where he was allegedly racially abused and forced to the ground. The defendant denies murder and manslaughter, while a 13-year-old girl denies manslaughter.
