Rick Caruso’s non-profit, Steadfast L.A., is providing free prefabricated homes for wildfire victims in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, and Pasadena. Partnering with Samara, the initiative features two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes styled after mid-century bungalows, funded by the Caruso Family Foundation, Samara, and a $15 million donation from Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia. These interim homes aim to help residents remain in their communities while they rebuild, with the goal of supporting quick recovery and community resilience.
