During a Q&A session, Gervais shared an anecdote about a colleague who spat gum into a makeup artist's hand, calling such actors "spoiled little brats." He suggested treating difficult actors "like children" and keeping them on set rather than firing them, as they often feel entitled after years of special treatment. Gervais emphasized that acting alongside pampered actors is harder than directing them, as there's no way to "hide behind the monitor." He also mentioned that he often works with the same crew and actors, who he finds to be great. Gervais is currently on his Mortality stand-up tour in the UK.
