At the European Indoor Championships, Sarah Lavin finished fourth in the 60m hurdles final with a time of 7.92 seconds, a season's best. Ditaji Kambundji won gold in a record-breaking 7.67 seconds. Jakob Ingebrigtsen won the 1,500m, securing his 22nd European title. Georgia Hunter Bell was overtaken in the final sprint of the women’s 1,500m, with Agatha Guillemot winning gold. Sharlene Mawdsley withdrew from the 400m heats.
