Scots landlords to be forced to fix mouldy homes after tragic death of toddler

Following the death of a toddler from mould exposure, Scotland will introduce "Awaab's Law," forcing landlords to investigate and repair mouldy social housing within strict timeframes. Amendments to the Housing (Scotland) Bill will give ministers power to enforce these regulations, addressing widespread issues of damp, condensation, and mould affecting at least 1 in 10 Scottish homes.
