SEMENTILLI TRIAL: Key witness was told Monica ‘wanted her husband gone’

Christopher Austin pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in January

A key witness in Monica Sementilli's first-degree murder trial testified that her lover, Robert Baker, told him she wanted her husband, Fabio Sementilli, "gone," allegedly for insurance money. Baker, who pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, also claimed Monica said she was in an abusive relationship. The witness testified he only communicated with Monica through Baker. Monica Sementilli denies involvement in the 2017 murder.
