The Cyber Security Law Proposal was accepted by the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and enacted. The law establishes the Cyber Security Board, defines the scope of the law, and aims to protect critical infrastructure and create a secure cyberspace. It covers public institutions, professional organizations, individuals, and organizations operating in cyberspace, excluding intelligence activities. The law prioritizes domestic products and assigns responsibility to public and private entities for cybersecurity measures. The Cyber Security Presidency will work to improve cyber resilience and prevent cyber attacks.
