Silvertown shuttle offering free River Thames crossings for London cyclists for a year

The buses have been designed to store different types of bikes as it shuttles cyclists across the Thames

A free shuttle service for cyclists will operate for a year starting April 7, coinciding with the opening of the Silvertown Tunnel in East London. The service, running every 12 minutes between 6:30 am and 9:30 pm, will transport cyclists across the River Thames with dedicated silver and blue buses designed to accommodate various bike types. Only cyclists are permitted to use the shuttle.
