Sir Sean Connery’s son invests £1 million in inland surf resort

Jason Connery said the resort ‘brings something truly special to Scotland’.

Jason Connery, son of the late actor Sir Sean Connery, has invested £1 million in Lost Shore Surf Resort, an inland surf park near Edinburgh, Scotland. The resort, which opened in November, features the largest and most advanced wave pool in Europe, with a 250-meter beachfront capable of generating up to 1,000 customisable waves per hour. Lost Shore also includes accommodation, restaurants, and a surf school. Connery described the project as "exciting and ambitious," aligning with his passion for Scottish enterprise, sport, and culture. The resort is expected to attract over 160,000 visitors annually, contributing to economic growth and community engagement.
