Slot received a two-match touchline ban, reduced from three, for his confrontational and aggressive behavior, including shaking Oliver's hand while using abusive language. Slot denied some of the alleged language but admitted to others. His assistant, Sipke Hulshoff, also received a two-match ban for aggressive behavior. Slot was fined £70,000, and Hulshoff £7,000.
