Javier Dorado, a former Spain international and Real Madrid youth product, passed away at 48 after battling leukemia. He made his debut for Real Madrid in 1999 and was part of the 2000 Champions League-winning team. After leaving Madrid, he played for Rayo Vallecano, Sporting Gijón, and Mallorca before retiring in 2011. He was diagnosed with leukemia in 2022 and underwent a bone marrow transplant in 2023 but succumbed to the disease on February 27, 2025.
