Several SSE Airtricity customers have reported receiving unexpectedly high energy bills due to issues such as erroneous meter readings, incorrect Gas Conversion Factors, and estimated billing. One customer received a bill for €4,300, significantly higher than their average of €150. SSE Airtricity has acknowledged some of the issues and attributed them to factors like inflated bills from incorrect meter readings.
