NELFUND assures students that beneficiaries of the Nigerian student loan scheme can travel abroad after graduation. The loan is interest-free, even with extended repayment periods. NELFUND has processed and paid 261,000 students and is ready to disburse N135 billion if all applications are fully processed. Edo State encourages student applications. Edo University has 51 students benefiting from N61.4 million in funding. NELFUND expressed concern about low application numbers at Ambrose Alli University.
