A survey by Survei Median revealed that 46.1% of the public disagree with the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) instructing local leaders to postpone attending President Prabowo Subianto's retreat, while 37.3% agree and 16.6% remain neutral. Conducted amid heightened political tensions following the detention of PDIP's Secretary-General Hasto Kristiyanto, the survey indicates that a majority of the public expects local leaders to prioritize their governmental roles over party directives.
