Three masked gunmen opened fire "indiscriminately" at the Piper Arms pub near Scarborough Town Centre at 10:40 p.m. and fled in a silver car. Police are investigating and have yet to determine a motive. Councillor Michael Thompson fears retaliation, speculating a connection to recent tow truck shootings.
