A mysterious object crashed into a warehouse in Komorniki near Poznań, identified as debris from a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Witnesses reported seeing flashes in the sky over Poland and Europe. Astronomer Karol Wójcicki confirmed the debris as composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) from the rocket's second stage. The rocket, launched on February 1, 2025, carried 22 Starlink satellites. The Polish Space Agency confirmed the debris and noted its known trajectory. Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz assured there was no threat to security and promised more information.
