Tatjana Maria, a qualifier, beat Amanda Anisimova, the number eight seed, in straight sets to win the first women’s tournament at Queen’s since 1973Ready play.Apparently Anisimova was practising this morning and had someone hitting slices at her. That makes sense, but it won’t be the same as what’s in store for her on court this afternoon.
